Only on the water, from the base of the towering mountains, does the Blyde River Canyon unfold in all its splendour.
It is the third largest canyon in the world and certainly the greenest of its kind – the Blyde River Canyon. An abundance of wildlife calls this lush place of pure beauty home – numerous fish, hippos, crocodiles and a sea of wildflowers, that bloom in all their opulence every spring.
In partnership with the Moletele community, Blyde Canyon Safaris provides scenic boat trips on the Blyde Dam and thus enables a different perspective to the Three Rondawels or the rare living Kadishi Tufa waterfall.
