Hoedspruit Reptile Centre

„Conservation through education and research” – for a deeper understanding and appreciation of reptiles and amphibians.

The Hoedspruit Reptile Centre (HRC) has been one of the most well-known reptile centres in Africa dedicated to rescueing and relocating vulnerable and endangered reptiles since 1984. Strictly upholding their ethos, different tours – guided and self-guided – have been designed to educate people and instil in them a desire to preserve South Africa’s and the world’s wildlife.

Specialised fun-filled FGASA-accredited training courses teach how to identify snakes, how to handle them or how to deal with emergency situations.
